With the continuous development of social economy, tunnels play an increasingly important role in the national road construction. In this situation, how safe, economical and rapid construction of a tunnel to become the scholars common goal.This paper describes domestic and finite element numerical simulation and the monitoring techniques used in highway tunnel construction, detailing the role of the NATM tunneling method in construction.For a large section of tunnel surrounding rock stability is poor, complex geological structure and other characteristics of two-dimensional elastic-plastic tunnel numerical simulation research, combined with ABAQUS software to force deformation of surrounding rock is studied.According to the tunnel construction site monitoring data, to the large cross section of tunnel surrounding rock deformation and its stability analysis in detail, and based on the measured data of the statistics, the surface subsidence, vault subsidence, when the tunnel construction in horizontal hole convergence law of change over time.Finally, the analysis of the results of the numerical simulation results were compared with the measured data, make some rules be verified.In this paper, the research content mainly has the following several aspects:1、By ABAQUS software to simulate tunnel excavation and construction, using a two-dimensional elastic-plastic deformation and stability of finite element simulation Tunnel. Data obtained by the simulation in order to analyze the deformation and summarizing the law by force during tunnel construction Tunnel.2、In-depth understanding of NATM method and principles on the basis of the relevant monitoring sites surrounding rock buried resistive strain gages, strain gauge steel stress, earth pressure cells and other monitoring equipment to monitor the data, according to the site monitoring data on income tunnel surrounding rock deformation process produced an in-depth analysis, and regression analysis on the basis of monitoring data on the secondary lining of tunnel facilities for the time to be judged, in order to guide the construction.3、Obtained by the finite element analysis of deformation of surrounding rock tunnel construction process, combined with the analysis of the results of Han gate tunnel monitoring data and monitoring the results of the calculation results were compared.
