The stacking of waste ceramic that generated by the production of ceramic do a lot of harm to the environment. The waste ceramic are turned into useful things when we reused it in this work. It will reduce the pollution of the environment as well as the exploitation of the mineral productions which have a significant meaning to the environment and the mineral productions. Sintering road bricks are mostly used in the area of northern china where there snow a lot and the sintering free road bricks are mostly used in the southern china where there rain a lot. Because of the composition similarity between the waste ceramic power and kaoline, A greatly addition of the waste ceramic power will not have a bad effect on the sintering road bricks and it will serve as an aggregate to the sintering free road bricks. This work focus on the research of reusing the waste ceramic to produce the sintering road bricks and the baking-free road bricks and it means to turn the waste ceramic power into useful things which will enlighten the progress of the ceramic industry. It has not only the value of academic but also have the direction to the actual production.The mean work of this paper is to reuse the waste ceramic power to produce the sintering and sintering free road bricks and the mean job including the following points:1、Analyzing the raw materials by using the Chemical mineral analysis, and descripting the detail of the technology process and the property test method about how to produce the waste ceramic road brick.2、Preliminary test the sintering and sintering free road brick and find that in order to produce the road brick with a good property, the grain composition must be homogenous, the addition of the waste ceramic should be around 50%, the sintering temperature should be1250 oC, the holding time should be 1.5h, and the SP dosage of the sintering free road brick should be around 0.2%.3、Optimizing the preferred method using orthogonal test twice to produce the sintering road brick and the preferred method was that, the best grain composition is 2000-500μm55%、500-300μm35%、300-75μm10%, the dosage of the waste ceramic power is 45%, the sintering temperature is 1200 oC, and the holding time is 1h. And by using this preferred method, the flexure strength of 19.98 MPa, the compressive strength of 32.56 MPa, the porosity of 20.21%,the wearing rate of 1.05% and the permeability coefficient of 1.26×10-2cm/s were got.4、Optimizing the preferred method using orthogonal test twice to produce the sintering free road brick and the preferred method was that, the best grain composition is2000-500μm85%、500-300μm10%, the dosage of the waste ceramic power is 35%, the dosage of SP is 0.17%. And by using this preferred method, the flexure strength of 11.27 MPa, the compressive strength of 58.77, the porosity of 40.26%, the water absorption rate of 22.35%,the wearing rate of 1.54% and the permeability coefficient of 1.26×10-2cm/s were got.
