| With the development of power electronics toward the direction of light and miniaturization, especially the development of consumer electronics and computers, more and more devices need to have different levels of voltage to provide energy, but traditional multiple module power supply can’t meet the requirements for the development of miniaturized and lightweight, so multi-output power supply technology has become an important trend. It not only can effectively reduce the volume of the converter, but also can decrease the power loss. However, the multi-output transformer still have many problems in practical applications, one of the most important problem is the cross-regulation. In this paper, a novel method for improving the cross regulation characteristics in multi-output series resonant converter (SRC) is proposed.Firstly, this paper introduces the application of multi-output converter in three-phase power module, than the paper introduces the theory of traditional multiple module power supply and multi-output converter. The paper gives the introduction of cross-regulation problem in multi-output converter. Then the paper proposed a novel method for improving the cross regulation characteristics. The new method is based on the theory of eddy demagnetization and series resonant, and the performance of which is verified on the four outputs SRC. Both FEM simulation and the experimental results are presented to demonstrate the theoretical analysis. The experimental results illustrate that the proposed method can improve the cross regulation characteristics in multi-output SRC, and make the outputs of multi-output SRC stable. |
