Research On Landscape Design For Urban Street Based On The Philosophy Of Symbiosis

Urban street landscape is one of the most intuitive reflect elements of the urban image. People put forward higher requirements of their habitation urban street environment in the process of urbanization. The attention to the urban street landscape design also reached an unprecedented height.In the rapid advance of urbanization process, the development of urban street landscape separated from the whole urban as some streets can’t fully adapt to the urban development speed. It affects the promotion of urban street and overall image seriously.The paper will take the symbiotic philosophy of Kisho Kurokawa as the theoretical foundation, carding and comprehensive its reflections in different fields and put forward the symbiotic theory system in view of the urban street landscape design, then propose the design principles and methods of the symbiotic urban street landscape. Putting forward the solutions after analyzing the "not symbiotic" phenomenon. Basis on this, taking explore in the design of urban street landscape along Nansong Lake in Kunshan.
