With the development of society and economy,the requirements of enterprise production and people’s life to the power supply reliability and power quality are more and more high. This requires the distribution network power supply can be reliable and has high quality. The development distribution Automation makes it all in constant realization, and it has great market prospects.Feeder Automation is an important part of the distribution automation, and it is a major way to deal with the power grid fault. Feeder automation can be divided into: Recloser- segmented mateability, Centralized control type, distributed intelligent type and Network protection type and so on. By comparison, distributed processing technology in the future has great room for development. It can quickly locate, isolate the fault of distribution network and recover the power of the non-fault zone,distribution network to achieve the requirements of the power supply.In the distributed processing of technology distribution network, whether the network reconfiguration in distribution network or contact switch identity recognition, cannot do without the network topology structure. For the centralized control type, the distribution terminal download the topology information from the master station which unable to obtain the relevant information of time and communication failure occurs in the terminal and the master faults. Automatic identification method of network topology is proposed in this paper can obtain the topological structure of distribution network by using only the content of mutual communication between terminals. The topology of the network initiated by the switch line is not closed query. Firstly it launched the network topology to the ends of the lines inquiry instruction, it can determine itself whether contact switch when informed that at both ends of the line for the end is the power switch. As a result, it achieves the self recognition of contact switch. Automatic recognition of the network topology has good practicability. Not only has fast response speed and the communication channel has small pressure, it greatly improve the processing speed of the distribution network fault.It describes the short circuit fault in distribution network, piecewise switching circuit for load switch and circuit breaker model under two kinds of conditions, intelligent terminal fault location, isolation and restoration of power supply, load to predict the course of action, to achieve automation of the processing technology of distributed requirements. This article also in distribution network fault, power distribution terminal under the condition of refusing action or misoperation, puts forward the feasible solution namely fault-tolerant processing of distributed processing technology, to further improve the power supply reliability of distribution network.This paper also built based on IEC 61850 standard related to intelligent power distribution terminal, can achieve different equipment manufacturers, interconnection, plug and play.I take the distributed processing technology apply to the existing distribution terminal, and relevant experiment was carried out. The simulation results show that the rationality and correctness of the information model. It can complete the process of distributed processing techniques, and achieve the expected goal.
