On The Exploration And Application Of Shuikou Construction Of Hui Zhou Ancient Villages

Huizhou ancient village is a treasure of traditional village in C hina. As the "portal" of Huizhou ancient village, “Shuikou” is not only an important content in the layout of Huizhou ancient village, but also an important part of the construction of the ancient human settlement environment. It shows palpable features of the region and times on the infiltration of natural environment and cultural elements in Huizhou areas.The construction of modern residential has attracted the attention of the whole society at present. The rapid development of globalization have a certain impact on the construction of residential living environment and continuation of regional culture, and we now facing the deterioration of the living environment and the loss of traditional culture and others problems, but “Shuikou” had made certain effects in these aspects, so it has certain reference and guiding significance to the construction of modern residential area.Therefore, this paper takes Huizhou ancient villages “Shuikou” as the research object, make a preliminary discussion on the natural geographical environment which affect the forming of “Shuikou” on the based of research about its outfall examples and historical literature, and then study on the classification and construction elements. Finally, the author summed up the characteristics on the cultural connotation, space function, spatial pattern, landscape construction and behavior psychology of “Shuikou”. “Shuikou” has important historical, humanistic and ecological functions in modern times, so we conducted a preliminary study of the modern reference strategy combined with modern cases.Finally, we have a dialectic discusses of mining and modern reference to the "Shuikou" construction principle, and put forward the deficiencies and the direction of further work.This paper provides the theory basis to the further understanding of “Shuikou”, and provides a reasonable starting point for solving the rational design of modern residential space. Furthermore, it provides a platform for the protection of ecological environment and the inheritance of traditional culture in Huizhou ancient vil age.
