Preparation And Anticorrosive Properties Of High Performance Antifreeze

The antifreeze adding water-soluble conductive polyaniline is a new type automobile antifreeze.The composition of new-style antifreeze is that the ordinary antifreeze has to add the right amount of water-soluble conductive polyaniline.The antifreeze has improved the anticorrosive without effecting other performance.Water soluble polyaniline is characterized by good stability.energy conservation,environmental protection,efficient,meeting a variety of metal corrosion resistence and so on.The new-style antifreeze has overcome some antifreeze problems which has not been solved yet and agents a new field for choosing inhibitors.The experiment through classic weight loss tested carbon steel 45#, cast iron.HT300, copper T2, aluminum LY12 four kinds of metal materials separately in differenttime and different content added polyaniline and then calculated its inhibition efficiency. And also to observe the corrosion morphology changes of metal surface before and after the experiment and judges antifreeze performance for metal corrosion. The antifreezes that added different contents water-solube conductive polyaniline test corrosion of cast aluminum alloys under heat-rejecting conditions.The results judge the corrosion of aluminum specimen.Weight loss test results show that the new type automobile antifreeze has certain corrosion resistance ability,in the automobile antifreeze the corrosion rate order is HT300>T2>LY12>45#.In automobile antifreeze fluid which polyaniline content is5%, the corrosion rate of the sample tend to flatten out after the first drop with the increase of immersion time. It has be seen from the metal corrosion rate curve that New type automobile antifreeze had a greater influence on the corrosion rate ofcarbon steel, corrosion rate of carbon steel at the end lower 63% than earlier.SEM observations showed the inhibitor played a significant protective action on metal corrosion; it is visibly lighten for metal surface corrosion degree.Corrosion of cast aluminum alloys under heat-rejecting conditions showed that Inautomobile antifreeze fluid which polyaniline content is 5% is good for aluminum specimen inhibition effect.
