In the design of highway, highway will pass through some areas with poor engineering geological conditions, for example, highway construction area of Yibin transit projects crosses a large area of land with a soft winter paddy field. Due to low carrying capacity of soft foundation, large deformation subsidence, poor stability, it is likely to cause road settlement under the load, and seriously affects use features of road, so choosing technically feasible and economically reasonable soft foundation treatment programs is important for saving investment, conserving land, protecting resource and ensuring project quality.Based on western program of Yibin transit highway which is being constructed,taking K10 + 630 ~ K10 + 780 section of soft ground treatment as practical engineering, in combination with the practical situation of project, the paper constructs evaluation index system to determine the nine indicators of soft ground treatment scheme: the project cost, maintenance workload, time limit for project,bearing capacity and settlement, soft soil thickness, construction conditions, the ecological environment, water environment, air environment. The expert scores to construct judgment matrix, establishes a model for processing scheme optimization,and determines the optimal soft soil foundation treatment scheme. Aiming at the project of different sections, terrain, the engineering geological conditions, the paper separately optimizes each typical areas, gets the optimal soft soil foundation treatment scheme, and carries on the design. The principle is the geotechnical software is adopted to the some soft soil foundation bearing capacity, settlement and stability calculation and verification, the calculation results show that after the processing of subgrade, bearing capacity, settlement and stability are conformed to the requirements of the specification, which proves that the scheme is technically feasible and economically rational.
