On the basis of the analytical method with elastic foundation beam method (The m method) of calculation model has been widely applied in mudstone anti-slide pile design. But m method to calculate the selection of parameters is a big problem in the engineering, mudstone because its between rock and soil characteristics, makes the existing specifications given m value reference range in mudstone, but not given a definite reference value, it is necessary to give an m value, according to a region of the measured data analysis system, in order to formation similar or provide reference and basis in the region near the pile foundation design.Collected in this paper, through test of Nanning basin is a typical shale field horizontal static load test of pile’s related information, compare the specification and horizontal static load test results measured values is discussed, and according to characteristics of weeks rock anti-slide piles, respectively, using the experience of the whole and the weathering mudstone values, the calculation and analysis of strongly weathered mudstone, it is concluded that the ideal and stable strongly weathered mudstone m value scope for 12~63 MN/m4, the average value is 30.5MN/m4。At present, a lot of mudstone slope stability analysis taking indoor and field test of the proceeds of the instantaneous shear strength of geotechnical parameters for slope stability coefficient, without considering the slope stability against sliding coefficient caused by creep degradation problem, also did not consider the safety factor of creep condition. This paper to file a sliding plane method and garden solitary sliding method when the long-term shear strength reduction factor analytic formula of safety factor under the condition, and is verified by an example.
