With the development of the world economy and society, wind power has been rapid development. The wind farm that consists of the double-fed wind turbines and direct-drive wind turbines in china or at abroad which to much research on reactive power optimization control. The wind farm that consists of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine reactive power optimization control research is rare. This new type of wind turbine, which not only has a strong ability to regulate reactive power, and power quality is good, is a beacon of wind power technology in the future. Therefore, the study of reactive power optimization control problems of the wind farm that consists of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine, the development of wind turbine technology in china has a profound role in promoting.Aiming at the wind farm that consists of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine exists reactive power optimization control problems, this thesis analyzes mastered the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine basic principles and its reactive power output capacity, set up the mathematical model of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine, including wind turbines, transmission chain, excitation system and electrically excited synchronous generator model, while established a wind speed model, analyzed the typical wind farm electrical wiring. Discussion and Research on the mathematical model of wind farm reactive power compensation device.The front-end speed adjusting wind turbine has a strong ability of dynamic reactive power regulation, this thesis proposes a hierarchical control strategy of reactive voltage in the front-end speed adjusting wind farm. Firstly, based on the analysis of traditional reactive power control mode, established the overall structure of the wind farm that consists of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine, including two aspects, one is wind farm reactive power setting, another is wind farm reactive power allocation. Secondly, determines selection of the reactive power control point in the wind farm, utilizes voltage deviation of the wind farm control point, by the tuning control obtains reactive power demand of the whole wind farm, the whole reactive power demand according to the equal power allocation assigned to the turbine.Aiming at the wind farm reactive power optimization control, on the basis of analyzing the basic principle of genetic algorithm, and improved, to establish the minimum real power loss of the wind farm is used as objective function, based on the improved genetic algorithm optimizes it and allocates to each wind turbine, combines the reactive power output of the Static Synchronous Compensator to adjusts the reactive power output of the whole wind farm, to achieves the purpose of maintaining the voltage stability of the control point, and simulation. Reactive power control and reactive power optimization control simulation results of the study of the wind farm that consists of the front-end speed adjusting wind turbine show that the control strategy not only maximize the impact of inhibitory control point voltage fluctuation of power grids, and maintain a wind farm in access to the stability of regional power grid voltage.
