With the development of computer technology, the kind of vehicle functions is increasing, driver need to operate these equipment while driving. The traditional keyboard input mode can not satisfy the need of driver, they want to operate them conveniently at any time, that requires a new way of man-machine communication to replace the keyboard input mode, the combination of the speech recognition technology and modern cars meets the needs of people. In recent years, the application of speech recognition technology has become a high technology and competitive industry.This paper aims at developing the application of voice control technology in the power window system, and studied the development of vehicular speech recognition system. The voice control technology is applied to control electrical operational window, that simplifies the operation process and is benefit to improve driving safety.In this paper, the application of embedded speech recognition system of power window based on Sunplus SPCE061A microcontroller in power window control was studied. Firstly, the basic principle and the classification of speech recognition technology was introduced, and the type of speech recognition of power windows controlling system were determined, the speech recognition, which is based on the Mel-frequency cepstrum coefficient (MFCC) feature parameters and Hidden Markov model (HMM) algorithm are focused on. A speech recognition system of speaker independent, small vocabulary and isolated word was designed with HMM algorithm and it was simulated on MATLAB. It contains pretreatment, endpoint detection and extracting feature parameters of speech signals. After pre-emphasis processing, the input speech signal was adding window and frame, endpoint detecting via using double-treshold endpoint detection algorithm, and extracting MFCC parameters. The simulation results show that the system can realize the main process of speech recognition. Then the internal resources of Sunplus MCU and the hardware of the system were explained, and the implementation process of speaker independent, small vocabulary and isolated word speech recognition based on the SPCE061A microcontroller was introduced in detail from the point of view of the software and hardware designing. The hardware circuit of the power windows control system based on SPCE061A was analyzed and designed. Finally, the testing method and results of the experiments were analyzed and explained. The experimental data shows that the speech recognition function of the system could meet the basic requirements of speech recognition part of the voice-controlled electrical window system, and the phenomenon shows that the function of voice-controlled system of electrical window is completed.
