As typical Cold-Area city, Jinan requires reasonable consideration in the daylighting design. Favourable daylighting has closely connection with the Visual comfort and building energy consumption.Former research of the interior daylighting was focus on the establishment of nature sky models and evaluation system. This paper will analyze and optimize the design of residential planning, house plane and the daylighting components, based on conventional high-rise housing, by simulation software. The light climate partition and outdoor illuminance value is the difference between the current and former specification. The investigation showed that due to the fog haze weather and the characteristics of the northern area, sky illuminance value of Jinan is low, the indoor natural lighting environment is generally difficult to meet the standard requirements, part of the function space still needs artificial lighting during the day, so in further research, using outdoor illumination lighting parameters on the top of the critical value and the current structure to design codes standards, combining to get the optimal design of indoor light environment is important. In other way,the shading or light deflection system could Optimizes indoor light environment. In addition, the optimization of light environment has influence of other indoor environment factors, it is necessary a comprehensive optimization scheme. Combined with the optimization of ventilation, thermal and acoustic components, is also the principle of the optimization design. At the end of the paper, based on an example for the optimization design of the light environment has carried on the further research.
