In this study, a preferred test of enhanced coagulation has been done for the water introduce from the yellow river. The test divided into orthogonal and pilot scale test. In the orthogonal section, seven kinds of factors have been pick out from the factors that influence the effect of the enhanced coagulation. And in this section ever factor has been set three levels for the test. The result of the test not only include the order of the different factors for the removal efficiency of every indicator. And the removal effect diagram of various factors on the level of each index can been can be drawn based on the test results.Depending on the different water quality characteristics and the pollutant index which one is prominent put different weight distribution under certain conditions. And then find a proper conditions of the enhanced coagulation based on the strength and the removal of the effect of the indexs. Age season:the coagulant is PAC, dosing quantity to3mg/L (by aluminium ion meter); The anionic (AN923SEP) one of the PAM for the coagulant aid, dosing quantity is0.1mg/L; Oxidant for potassium permanganate, dosing quantity is0.1mg/L; Summer:the coagulant is PAC, dosing quantity to3mg/L (by aluminium ion meter); The anionic (AN923SEP) one of the PAM for the coagulant aid, dosing quantity is0.15mg/L; Oxidant for chlorine dioxide, dosing quantity is0.1mg/L; Winter:the coagulant is PAC, dosing quantity to3mg/L (by aluminium ion meter); The anionic (AN923SEP) one of the PAM for the coagulant aid, dosing quantity is0.15mg/L; Oxidant for chlorine dioxide, dosing quantity is0.3mg/L.Meanwhile a process validation has been done on the test equipment according to laboratory test results for the different period. Verification results show preferred enhanced coagulation conditions not only in the removal of an advantage on conventional indicators and for the disinfection byproducts(DBPs), geosmin, residual aluminum and other aspects of the removal of residual effect is more pronounced. The unconventional indicators of effluent which from the combined process were standard.
