With the rapid development of human civilization and society,the emergence of more and more complex high-rise building structures. Such a complex high-rise building structure design, by the architectural features,the height load,high beam,stair landings and filling walls and other factors and constraints,frame column may become worse short column short columns. Currently,scholars and engineers through theoretical and experimental study of a single short column member,has been basically define the factors affecting the seismic performance of short columns and made a lot of measures to improve the seismic performance,but contains a short column or more short Research on seismic performance of the overall structure of the column is rare.Given the need for engineering and scientific research,the paper research seismic performance of the overall structure of reinforced concrete short columns.Previous seismic elasticity theory can not accurately grasp the structure of the plastic into the actual stage of the reaction under the earthquake,can not ensure the structural safety in the earthquake or earthquake effects,so the structure of plastic analysis is particularly necessary.In this paper,a short column of more practical engineering frame-wall high-rise concrete structure containing as an object of study,the use of general-purpose finite element software Midas Gen establish the overall structure of the model,using the constant acceleration mode and two loading modes under different standards of its role Pushover analysis of deformation observed distribution and structure of its plastic hinges, structural analysis results suffered earthquake effect,the entire frame short plastic hinge,which accounted for the largest proportion of shear hinges,hinge moment,followed by the axial force hinge least,all the floors are weak layer structure,the structure can not meet the "earthquake does not fall",the seismic requirements and "strong column weak beam","strong shear weak bending" seismic design.The structure of the weak parts of the concrete columns with additional measures taken to strengthen the core columns,given the Midas Gen software can not provide the cross-section of core columns and other forms of unconventional,we use Xtract section analysis software to establish the form of reinforced concrete column model of core columns,and its cross-sectional analysis,and the use of core columns were calculated column unit and modify the plastic hinge characteristic values.After the plastic hinge modified to give each column unit,using the constant acceleration mode and its two loading modes under different level role Pushover analysis,analysis of results of core reinforced concrete short column to take measures in the event of a large structure earthquakes occur when performance points,frame column does not appear in the plastic hinge ductility structure has greatly improved to meet the "earthquake does not fall","fortification requirements"and" strong column weak beam","strong shear weak bending" seismic design philosophy.
