In this paper, civilization as a unit, Combed the dome’s process of production,development, and decline in Christian civilization and Islamic civilizationarchitecture.Comparison between the examples based in two civilizations. Summed up theirrespective dome of the characteristics in design of architectural, style of decoration,construction techniques, aesthetic, and the expression of the era ideals and spirit.At thesame time to explore other material within this civilization, the spirit of systemachievements, and to explore the role of this among civilizations and inter-civilizationexchanges between the respective architecture development of the dome.Hope to providesome inspiration for the so far still prevalent dome of architecture design.
