Studies On Chinese Civilization City Sites Selection In Pre-Qin Period

The toughness and vitality,unique aesthetics and philosophical background of the traditional Chinese thought of building cities,enriched the history of world cities.The location of cities in the pre-Qin period was full of active ideas and rich practices,which was the starting point of China's tradition of building cities.However,the existing research results of urban site selection are concentrated in the main dynasty period,and there are few reports about the results in the pre-Qin period and it is not systematic.This thesis aims to restore the pre-Qin city site construction history from the perspective of history through the study of pre-Qin Chinese city site selection,and excavate the basic value,source value and diversified value of pre-Qin city site selection from the cultural and technical perspectives to make up for pre-Qin city construction Inadequate understanding of urban tradition and its value to the contribution of Chinesized.It also provides the wisdom of early ancestors for reference in modern urban planning and construction.This article uses a staged discussion combined with some case city analysis to sort out the dynamic process of the origin,distribution,rheology,and integration of urban site selection in the main areas of the pre-Qin Chinese civilization for more than 4000 years from the Longshan age to the end of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,and this research focuses on comprehensive research,and selects technical systems and philosophical ideas that are important supports for urban site selection for special research.The research results revealed that the development process of pre-Qin Chinese city site selection experienced three stages: "multi-source" development period,from "multi-source" to "integrated" period,and then from "integrated" to "multi-variable" period;It is proposed that the site selection technology system has been initially formed during the pre-Qin period,this system consists of "the method of measuring the square position of the measurement","the technique of making a city in proportion to its land" the "system of water control according to local conditions","River basin management of the art of revitalizing the city","the technique of the festival of star-watching",and "the technique of the heaven-like worship of the astrology" are composed of six aspects,which are characterized by "practical rationality".It was found that the location of the city was influenced by the Pre-Qin philosophical thoughts,and reflected in the overall view of the unity of heaven and human,the aesthetic view of landscape's sentiment,and the view of human beings and inaction in action.And it consider that " complementary Confucianism and Taoism." Is its general characteristics."Confucianism" and "Taoism" together constitute the contradiction of advancement and retreat,ingenuity and clumsiness,closeness and release.And together form the traditional open,pluralistic and deep ideological backbone and basic clues of Chinese site selection tradition.
