With the advancement of science and technology, household appliances become increasingly intelligent and sophisticated. Therefore, users who focus on the functional diversity of demands at the same time, will pay more attention to human-machine-environment harmonious experience. By studying the mechanism of situational awareness, it is applied to the display control interface-design studies of household appliances. Experimental studies combined with the availability of context-based tasks, the existing appliance interface issues were classified, and to develop a set of testing programs, and designed a series of experiments carried out some basic research provides a reference for the design of technical parameters. Following work has been achieved:The research analyses the development process of interface status quo and existing appliance interface design. On this basis, the design direction based on situated cognition is put forward, which introduces the situation of cognitive mechanism in detail. Scenarios using three-tier model of cognition, the home appliance users are classified. Three levels of control using human behavior model to analyze the causes of the mechanism of user error appliance interface design should be made consistent with the requirements of the user general cognitive habits. Introduced through cognitive engineering knowledge, made the shortcomings of traditional engineering has gradually highlights the need to consider the design ideas which optimize engineering design ideas, design and engineering combined.Through the display and control interface usability testing, to explore the use of the existing interface, and then enter the information in the context of cognitive processes, processing, output and feedback information of the four process information classified analysis of the problem, combined with the ergonomics of information and national anthropometric data on some elements of the interface gives the design parameters.Consolidate problems found in usability testing, designed a series of experiments based on experiments and eye for design parameters and interface elements are arranged to provide overall guidance suggested. Proposes three indicators refrigerator display and control interface design, gives the right weight coefficients of each indicator to detect existing refrigerator ergonomic interface design. And using the standard three interfaces is tested.
