Energy has become the main driving force of modern production, With the rapid development of the national economy and the improvement of people’s living standard, energy play an increasingly important role in the national economy. Harmonic which is generated by many new devices has brought a great influence and interference. Harmonic is a measure of the important indicators of power quality standard; therefore, the harmonic analysis is particularly important.Since it’s easily realized in embedded system, Fast Fourier Transformation algorithm was adopted, but as it has the disadvantages such as frequency leakage and fence effect. On the basis of study of the characteristics of different windows, a new method for electrical harmonic analysis based on the Blackman-Harris window double-spectrum-line interpolation algorithm was proposed. The comparison simulation results of Matlab of FFT, on Hanning window interpolation algorithm and on Blackman-Harris window double-spectrum-line interpolation algorithm indicate that, the method proposed in this paper can correctly analyze the harmonics and has high accuracy in computing harmonic amplitude and phase, which has high availability.WPT can analysis the Non-steady harmonics which FFT can’t, but the frequency sub bands of WPT are not arranged according the value of frequency, thus brings the confusion to the actual signal analysis. Plus even harmonics can’t be analysised by WPT.So an improved method based on the wavelet packet transform for the time-frequency analysis of non-steady harmonics in power systems is given in this paper.This paper designs and implements a system of power quality analysis based on dual-core processor OMAPL137. The system consists of a few power quality analyzers, a time system and a server. Each power quality analyzer can be used as a node to monitor and analyze the power system.The algorithm of harmonic analysis presented in this paper is implemented in C language and transplanted to the core platform to the platform which uses dual-core processor OMAPL137as cores, thus completing the power quality analysis system.Experimental results show the power quality analysis system can do harmonic analysis and the calculation of power quality parameters correctly and accurately.
