In recent years, with the development of society and economy, the speed ofurbanization accelerate social, urban construction land increasingly tense, the buildinghas been added layer expansion is widely used. Currently in the design of buildingsand floor are generally commissioned to design the unit directly to the structure of thenew added individually designed, and not the old and new structures will beconsidered as a whole. This design approach old separation, although the structure cangreatly simplify the design process, but it caused a difference between theory andpractice, therefore, the overall analysis of the structure is necessary.In this paper, into the County of Handan City, Town teaching buildingengineering background. The project is a reinforced concrete frame structure,combined with the actual situation, to be carried out using light steel in floorexpansion, the use of finite element software PMSAP added layer frame structurebefore and after the mixed layer structure plus the two models were conducted inthree different seismic analysis (when modal analysis, response spectrum analysis anddynamic process analysis) to identify differences before adding layer after layer andprocessing..By comparing the analysis results: modal analysis, hybrid structure of theoriginal frame structure and processing layer after are the first two vibration modes ofthe structure from the main control action; But after the mixed layer structure plus thetranslational part and torsional amplitude is relatively large, and appeared in localbuckling. So, add a layer of design should be appropriate to increase inter-columnsupport, in order to enhance the overall stiffness of the added layer portion. Responsespectrum and dynamic analysis results showed that: after adding layer shear and axialforces underlying structure has significantly increased, while the horizontal portion ofthe layer of steel plus a larger displacement, horizontal displacement of the entirestructure after adding layers from the top the added layer portion control, therefore,should take certain structural measures, to the top of the structure is strengthened toensure the safety frame structure. Response spectrum analysis results also show that:with the bottom of the column capitals shear displacement hybrid structure located atthe top of the steel frame is greater than the results directly into the ground, andincrease bottom of the column shear steel frame design proposals. This paper verifies the necessity of this hybrid structure after adding layers overall analysis, to provide areference value for the similar structure design.
