With the continuous development of global industrial technology in recent years, the world’s fossil fuel energy depleted, and international organizations for carbon emissions reduction requirements are put forward. Wind power as a kind of clean and renewable energy, has been large-scale commercial application.To double the number of installed capacity in China is in successive years, to develop in the direction of high power, single large-scale, at the same time promote the large megawatt wind turbine blade aerodynamic design and analysis the development of the work. Wind turbines in the large scale of wind turbine blade performance put forward higher requirements, but blade design and manufacturing technology in China are there is a certain gap compared with abroad, especially in the area of aerodynamic, structure design is quite lacking.So the advanced technology for wind turbine blade design, to improve the ability of independent research and development of China’s wind power industry is of great significance.3mw horizontal axis wind turbine, this paper designed a special airfoil and blade, and analyzes its aerodynamic performance.Using profili software calculation and analysis of the relative thickness of the airfoil, relative camber and leading edge radius effect on airfoil aerodynamic performance, by using Fluent software, and analyzed the influence of reason, analysis results show that the change of airfoil geometric parameters can improve the aerodynamic performance of airfoil.Different parts according to the horizontal axis wind turbine blade aerodynamic characteristics of airfoil’s request, with the relative thickness of the airfoil, relative camber and leading edge radius as design variables, to make the airfoil to achieve optimal aerodynamic performance, based on Profili airfoil design software and Matlab programming calculation software, the complex method is used to design the five relative thickness from15%to40%of the3mw wind turbine airfoils.Profili software calculation results show that the group dedicated airfoil aerodynamic performance of the basic can meet the large demand for airfoil aerodynamic characteristics of wind turbine.As a result of Profili software can only be given airfoil characteristics, no intuitive flow field, so the fluid analysis software Fluent was used to simulate the flow field, flow around airfoil flow field analysis results show that the airfoil Profili software designed to be trusted.For application in GL3A wind field of3mw horizontal axis wind turbine blades, the basic parameters of the blade design is determined.On the basis of Wilson pneumatic design theory. based on the Matlab software to calculate the blade chord length and the torsional Angle and correction, so as to obtain the wind turbine blade aerodynamic shape data, using3d modeling software Pro/e completed the entity model of the blade.Through the Viterna-Corrigan model extrapolation got a new special airfoil at Angle of attack+180°aerodynamic characteristics within the scope of the data, and the import GH-Bladed wind turbine calculation analysis software.Using GH-Bladed design of the blade with a3mw wind turbine matching, and calculate the aerodynamic performance of the blade. Calculation results show that the blade aerodynamic performance can satisfy the requirement of the3mw wind turbine aerodynamic, among them with the error between the design value is mainly controlled by the rational modification and wind turbines is set.
