With the rapid development of computer technology and the rapid increase incomputer penetration, the rock-mass random discontinuities network simulationtechnology has been applied and the corresponding development to a certain extentbased on probability theory and statistics theory, meanwhile, a lot of computerprogram about rock-mass random discontinuities network simulation was born basedon Monte Carlo. However, these rock-mass random discontinuities networksimulation methods and calculation procedures are still some deficiencies. Forexample,Traditional rock-mass random discontinuities network simulation of2-dimension is not considered spacing probability distribution model, the computerprogram was with the old development platform, the development of language wasold, had poor interactive interface, data management was complexity, graphics can notbe vectorized. Therefore, solving methodological problems that exist in rock-massrandom discontinuities network simulation and defects that exist in computer softwareis necessary.In this dissertation, through the discussion on the traditional rock-mass randomdiscontinuities network simulation of2-dimension and the segmentation method toobtain useful conclusions of rock-mass random discontinuities network simulationof2-dimension, and based on this conclusion, carry out the overall design, databasedesign, function modules of the RDNS-2D system, RDNS-2D system is applied tocalculate the SongTa hydropower dam site area PD212finally. Specific studies andresults are as follows:(1) By adopting the traditional2-dimensional network simulation method on asimulation of instance samples found that the simulation results of discontinuity’s DipDirection, Dip, Persistence accord with the actual, but the spacing of the simulationresults do not tally with the actual.In Dip Direction obey normal distribution, Dip andlong Persistence obey the lognormal distribution, and the middle point ofdiscontinuity under the premise of uniform distribution, the spacing of simulationresult obey negative exponential distribution.The traditional2-dimensional networksimulation is only suit for the condition that the distribution of discontinuities are uniform.(2) Based on the analysis of existing problems of traditional2-dimensionalnetwork simulation, this article put forward to solve the problem of unevendistribution of discontinuity of the "segment statistics-subsection simulation" methodof improvement.Namely at the completion of the entire region (segment) afterstatistical characteristic parameters, and for each homogeneous segments, accordingto the uniform distribution assumption, and using the number of discontinuities of thesection to control, generate the section of the fracture network, finally each segmentof the network of discontinuities will be superposited.In theory, if the section is smallenough, the distribution of all discontinuities in the segment will be close to the actualsituation.After different segment (100m and50m,20m,10m,5m,2m) in a seriesof simulation test, when the segment is2m, the distribution of segment close to theactual distribution, this paper selected instance of spacing probability distributionmodel of logarithm normal distribution).(3) This paper developed a set of random discontinuities geometry datamanagement, statistical analysis, a two-dimensional network simulation, connectivityrate calculation, which integrates stochastic discontinuities of rock masstwo-dimensional network simulation system (RDNS-2D), the system has thefollowing features:①RDNS-2D system was realized based on "segment statistics-subsectionsimulation" method of discontinuities2-dimensional network simulation, canimplement the network simulation of2-dimensional that discontinuities arenon-uniform distribution;②RDNS-2D system integrated data management, discontinuities geometryprobability distribution model, the scheme distribution model, the probabilitydistribution model to solve characteristic parameter K-S inspection, two-dimensionalnetwork simulation, connectivity rate calculation, and other functions into an organicwhole, easy to use;③RDNS-2D system based on the Microsoft.net Framework development,RDNS-2D system can run only in the computer operating system (Windows) isinstalled on.Net Framework version4.0and above, reduces the system dependenceon computer operating systems and hardware environment;④RDNS-2D system adopts object-oriented programming language, VB.NETdevelopment, convenient maintenance and extension;⑤RDNS-2D system have friendly interface, convenient interaction, and graphics-data, data extraction, convenient and graphical display intuitive; ⑥RDNS-2D system generates discontinuities data by the simulation module, cangenerate a AutoCAD vector graphics, intuitive reproduce the distribution ofdiscontinuities.
