Pervious concrete is green concrete, its advantages includ replenishgroundwater and sound absorption and so on. Pervious concrete can make up forthe shortcomings of ordinary concrete, it has great significance to improve thecity’s ecological environment. But the strength, frost resistance and abrasionresistance of the more pores permeable concrete cannot meet the requirements ofthe pavement. In order to expand the application of pervious concrete, make theexperimental study of pervious concrete’s properties mixed with rigid polymericfibers.Firstly, introduced the orthogonal experimental design and experimentalmethods to test the physical properties of the pervious concrete with rigidpolymeric fibers, included compressive strength, permeability coefficient, porosity,flexural strength and splitting tensile strength.Secondly, according to the principle of orthogonal design, this study made theorthogonal experiments of four factors and three levels. Its physical properties aremeasured according to the test method described sequentially. And analyzed themeasured data of each physical properties to use intuitive analysis and analysis ofvariance. Direct analysis got better the more outstanding combination of factors forsingle physical properties. Using the variance analysis method, study thesignificance of various factors for the corresponding physical properties. Andanalyzed the mechanism that rigid polymeric fibers modified pervious concrete.Into account, the process recommended in the actual project: the aggregate size of10to16mm, water-cement ratio0.35,the fiber content of0.4%,the emulsiondosage of15%.Finally, analysis the relationship between various physical properties of therigid polymeric fibers permeable concrete. Our results show that the relationshipbetween permeability coefficient and porosity, porosity and compressive strength,and strength between the quantitative analysis, to obtain the basic trend and the quantization formula between the corresponding performances. Conclusions onpractical engineering are significant.The rigid polymeric fibers permeable concrete overall performance is betterthan ordinary pervious concrete. The quantitative formula between variousinfluencing factors lay the oretical foundation for the application of perviousconcrete pavement.
