Research On Regional Design Of Hangzhou City Commercial Pedestrian Street

Commercial pedestrian street, is the main constituent elements of urban openspace, it is not only a complex of pedestrian and commercial activities, but also acore for people interacting and recreating, and here is full of rich layers ofarchitectural culture and street landscape, it is the symbol and continuity throughoutthe city characteristic culture, planning and construction of commercial pedestrianstreet has become one of the important means to improve the city function and cityimage. On the other hand, because the regional architectural thought reveals thediversity of architectural culture, as well as local natural, human environment,regional architecture creation came to the attention of the industry and has madecertain achievements. Different area environment leads to the difference betweenpeople’s way to live, aesthetic interests, values, culture, ideology and so on, alsomakes the city form their own characteristics in the process of growth, evolution.,regional architecture concept has deeply influence to various categories of creativeideas of building design, and the symbol of city characteristic culture---the designof commercial pedestrian street is inevitably influenced by it. Therefore shapingregional characteristics of city and commercial pedestrian street will become moreand more important.Because there are too much of the research and practice of domesticcommercial pedestrian street, but a complete theoretical system has not beenformed, so the author selects Hangzhou of the local characteristics and traditionalculture representative，and takes city commercial pedestrian street as a regionalresearch and analysis. This article will be based on the analysis of the concept ofthe regional architecture and commercial pedestrian street related theory, and synthesize the related concepts and introduced into the modern commercialpedestrian street of necessity, principle and content of regional design, and thencombined with the actual project of Hangzhou City with the investigation, analysis,comparison methods---Taking an example of Qing Hefang street, Xin Yifangcommercial pedestrian street and Hangzhou silk city pedestrian street，towardacquiring the regional design of Hangzhou city commercial pedestrian street, andproviding some improvement, reasonable suggestions for the research anddevelopment of regional design in Hangzhou City Commercial Pedestrian Street.Research on regional design of Hangzhou City Commercial Pedestrian Streetwill be discussed on the following3aspects:1, Cut the regional culture into the key concept of "regional architecture",figure out regional architecture definition, review of the origin and development ofregionalism, and reveals the characteristics of the three closely related with regional,seeking the essential connotation of regional architecture. Then, figure out theconcept of commercial pedestrian street and review the history of the developmentprocess, and then discuss the related theory basis. Finally，point out the regionalissues on Chinese commercial pedestrian street.2, Figure out the necessity，feasibility and principle on regional design ofmodern commercial pedestrian street, and combined with the relevant theory ofregional architecture and commercial pedestrian street，then summarize regionaldesign method of the modern commercial pedestrian street in the view of theoverall planning, architectural design, landscape design.3, Refine to development status of Hangzhou characteristic commercialpedestrian street, with the Hangzhou city and regional characteristics，then analyzeand compare three commercial pedestrian street of the most characteristics, and summarize their advantages and disadvantages in the process, and then putsforward a set of relative system of method and thought of regional design forHangzhou commercial pedestrian street.Sum up the Hangzhou commercial pedestrian street in the regional aspects:(1)the geography and climate factors---plants: evergreen broad-leaved forest;architectural space: Arcade, cornice space; waterscape: built in the water or putwater into the street.(2) the historical context factors---relying on culturalrelics，pick up the white walls and grey tiles, horse head wall building factors,reference Chinese fir commonly used in traditional houses as well as the uniquestructure form---hard and soft pick on pick.(3) cultural factors---organizecultural activities, folk activities in the Plaza; cultural environmental facilities; ofXiang Gao brick paving of the traditional process; sculpture of reconstruction ofscene; human behavior---a cup of tea, the folk drama, take a walk in the square.
