At the present time, the main research of seismic technology is focused on the mainbody of structure rather than the parts which do not play an important role in thestructure. However, the earthquake cases show that one of the most serious damagefactors is the damage of those seemingly unimportant parts. Therefore the developmentof seismic technology of these parts is pressing. Masonry fill wall is an important partof the frame structure, playing an essential role protecting and separating thespace. The security of masonry fill wall is an important indicator of the frame.In this paper, the author tries to discuss the load behavior of masonry fill wall inthe frame structure by the software ABAQUS and the simulation test. The conclusionsare as follows:(1) When setting up the rigid connection between the masonry fill wall and framestructure, the masonry fill walls appeared vertical cracks, which are the result of thedeformation of the beams and columns.(2) It can improve when setting up the reinforced through the whole fill, theintegrity of the masonry fill walls can be improved, which can avoid the fill wallscollapsing along out-of-place because of the cracking of the fill walls at the end ofreinforced.(3) When setting up the flexible connection between the masonry fill wall andframe structure, the gap between the wall and frame could reduce the impact of theearthquake. The angle steel bar at the top of the fill walls can impose restrictions onthe displacement of the wall, avoiding the fill walls collapsing along out-of-place.(4) Under the effect of horizontal force, the damage at the wall space whichflushes with column is more serious. So the author suggests use of the wall which doesnot flush with column at corridor to avoid the fill walls traffic congestion corridors.(5) The are different performances on the out-of-plane capacities of frame withthe different materials masonry fill walls. But all the location which is damaged at firstis mortar joint which comes earlier than the damages on all the concrete block.In this paper, the author also analyses calculation model suggestions of fill wallswith different constraint condition and load behavior effect of frame structure andgives some seismic performance design of the frame structure. The paper alsoputs forward the structural measures design of fill walls.
