ABSTRACT:Caused by the electric locomotive driving, the varied electrical parameters of traction network and traction substation that supply current to the train were calculated in the load process simulation of traction power supply system. Based on the driving simulation of a traction substation and its power supply arms, an establishment of a general traction supply system model, analysis of the load flow calculation and the computer simulation load process were the main topics of research on modeling and simulation of traction supply system’s load process.By introducing the background, significance and the research status at home and abroad of traction power supply system load process simulation, a mathematical model of power supply network was set up, the traction substation general equivalent circuit was derivated, and a type equivalent circuit traction network based on multi conductor transmission line model was established. After that, a general model of traction power supply system with power supply system and traction substation with its power supply arms was generating, through taking the electric locomotive as an ideal current source model.The load process flow calculation of traction power system is established, after forming the node voltage equation, including the flow in the traction substation and in the traction network. By the development of platform "traction power system load process simulation calculation program" based on Visual C++6.0, the computer simulation is completed, which can achieve the network voltage and current distribution simulation when the train in a static state, and realize the analog of voltage and current fluctuation in the measuring point, as the traction substation, keeping the train running.At last, the accuracy of the model and algorithm are verified with the simulation of Jinmacun substation, and some conclusions and summery are obtained related to this subject.
