Through simulation of the traction power supply system load-process, a variety of power supply indicator can be verified under different supply pattern operation mode and train in the various operating conditions, which provide scientific basis for the best design and operation of programs.Simulation on the traction power supply system load process is divided into two parts。Firstly, building mathematical model for AC traction power supply system, is the key to achieving the calculation of the static electric traction power supply system in any instantaneous moment. Secondly, the implementation of multi-train dynamic operation simulation based on run-map, is crucial for simulation of traction power supply load-process.In this paper, a unified mathematical model of traction network has been constructed for various forms of traction power supply system, based on multi-conductor transmission lines theory, which is compared with simplified equivalent circuit model by the calculation for the actual traction network. Based on general transform relations of traction substation, a universal equivalent of traction substation applied to different traction transformer connection and phase sequence is derived, in which the impact of the power system has been taken into account. By the chain network structure, universal simulation models of AC traction power supply system have been established based on the power section, substation, and the entire line, of which the corresponding flow calculation methods have been given. It is showed that the results of universal simulation models of AC traction power supply system based on the substation, and the entire line are accurate and reliable,by a practical example. Consideration for the simplicity of computer programming and code maintenance, a universal simulation model of AC traction power supply system based on the substation has been chosen.Researched on single-train operation simulation, this paper proposed a method of calculation for multi-train operation simulation, which can implement multi-train dynamic operation simulation based on run-map with different departing time interval and various forms of multi-vehicle train.On this basis, based on VC++2005. Net software development platform, AC traction power supply system simulation software has been developed. Finally, the modeling and simulation of a passenger dedicated line has been founded. The simulation results indicate that the calculation results of this software are accurate and believable. This software could be applied to high-speed, heavy-haul electrified railway.
