Multi-ribbed composite panel structure is a kind of new type of building structure which appears to satisfy the requirements of the reform of wall, floor innovation, building energy conservation and housing industrialization in our country. It is more and more widely used because of its significant advantages in recent years. But now the way to design multi-ribbed composite panel structure is carried out by hand computation which seriously restrict scheme optimization and conceptual design in the process of practical design. This paper is to research and develop a set of multi-ribbed composite panel structure aided design system for this structure’s design and calculation to overcome all kinds of possible problems that may arise in handwork. The CAD system’s design adopts Visual C++6.0MFC project and object-oriented language C++is chosen to be the program language.Working with the structure design software PKPM, the system is used to help design and calculate multi-story and high-rise multi-ribbed composite panel structure. The main achievements include:(1) Realize the human-computer interaction interface design information. The system has set parameter defaults on the interface, these paremeters will be automatically tested whether they are reasonable and be given feedback; through text mode and graphic mode to effectively guide the system user to arrange for GUI and save the setting parameters in text.(2)Realize visualization of wall panels, edge component assembly, and save the assembly results in text to obtain complete setting parameters of wall panels in order to calculate and inspect.(3)Realize design and shear calculation in multi-story multi-ribbed structure and integral multi-story multi-ribbed structure, and save the calculation results and main calculation parameters in text.(4) Realize design and shear calculation of high-rise multi-ribbed wall and high-rise integral multi-ribbed wall, and save the calculation results and main calculation parameters in text.(5)Automatically generate design calculation sheet in Word.The program is coded to meet the characteristic of capacity check which fabricated structure differ from cast-in-place structure. It is easy to operate the system which provides users with the intuitive graphical user interface for the convenience of inputing data and displaying results; compared with the existing CAD system and traditional handwork, this system has obvious advatantage with integrated calculation content, high-speed and high-precision computing; at the same time, can save data diversifiedly and intuitively. This article presents a set of example problems solved using the system to testify whether it is correct and practical or not.
