Nowadays, electronic products have been widely used in communications, computer, household appliances, aviation and other fields. When the power output over load or shortcircuit, will cause some damage to the power supply, the product the system can worknormally. The surge is also called surge, as the name suggests is beyond the normalworking voltage transient overvoltage. Essentially, the surge occurred in an intense pulsetime only a few millionths of seconds. Therefore, research on the enhancement ofprotection circuit of switching power supply surge current, can enhance the function ofelectronic products reliability, function stability. This paper first introduces the causes of the surge current generated, analyzes theharm of surge current. That switch power circuit of electronic products under high pressure, the switching power supply is also working in the high current state, and by the surgecurrent threats, ability of the transistor and the integrated circuit tolerance electricity, heatshock of the poor, in the use of the process to the user brings great inconvenience. In orderto protect the switch power supply and load security, according to the principle and thecharacteristic of switching power supply, introduces the overheat protection, overcurrentprotection, overvoltage protection and soft start protection circuit protection circuit. In this paper, using a switch circuit protection principle, analyzing the principle ofproduct application circuit, signal detection and verification of experimental data, based onthe product circuit optimization filter removed to make the switch circuit from surgecurrent, play a protective role on the product. This lengthens the service life of electronicproducts, reduce product maintenance cost to improve the safe use and user satisfaction.
