With the economic development of China and the growing number of the cars’, cars have already become a necessary transportation in our daily life, which, however increased the number of the traffic accidents and the casualties. Among them, compared to other collisions of the cars’accidents, the death rate caused by the cars’profile collision occupies the first place, even though it is not as many as those of frontal collision.The early safety analysis of the cars profile collision mainly focuses on the experiment method including the real car collision and simulation collision which are under the lead of the experiences. However, with the promotion and use of the computer, the emergence of some advanced ancillary analysis softwares on cars collision provides a convenient platform for the safety analysis of the cars profile collision. Through the advanced ancillary analysis softwares, the simulation analysis could be done in the period of the research and development when the cars are designed. Some problems could also be found out in advance so that people could shorten the R&D period, decrease the number of the collision experiments, reduce the research cost and speed up the research of the new models.This thesis mainly focuses on the laws on the cars collision at home and abroad,the development and the related theories on the cars collision including display nonlinear finite element theory, the unit calculates the single-point integration and hourglass control of shell element theory in a vehicle collision, the contact-impact algorithms and material models and constitutive relations.Through researching car collision regulations at home and abroad, firstly, make use of HyperWorks computer analysis software to clean up the vehicle CAD model geometry and meshing, element type, the definition of material properties and initial conditions, boundary conditions on the finite element model, the control parametersset, a detailed analysis of vehicle finite element model, rigid body, moving deformable barrier, the finite element model of the building process, finally make use of the LS-DYNA software to calculate. According to the latest version of the C-NCAP and the E-NCAP regulations require that the right side moving barrier wall collision and the collision of the side of the rigid column are simulated and analyzed. from the intrusion of the amount of the vehicle B-pillar on the left side of the penetration speed, invasive acceleration; doors the intrusion of the amount of penetration speed, invasive acceleration, and vehicle energy point of view to detailed analysis and evaluation, and analysis results were compared. Finally summed up a more reliable conclusions.
