From official statistics, the recent period of decade, the trading volume of auto industry in our country was rising steadily. By the third quarter of2011, China motor vehicle quantities is more than two hundred million, among them, auto volume breaks through one hundred million. In these ten years, China’s development in auto industry shows that more of us get to keep an eye on this market, also shows that people’s rising awareness and requirement onWith the price of entry-level getting lower and lower, more families could afford a car. After that, beyond the basic walking function, people get to ask for other demands and driving comfort is one of them. From this side, people start to care about the seats. Most manufacturers treat the seat regulatory function as a selling point to most customers. Thus, the comfort concept of car seat gets people’s cognition, and correspondingly engineering developers take design of seats as an important research.Seat comfort was mainly embodied in its adjustment function. By human operation, the seat can be at different positions of displacement to adapt to different drivers’requirement. Through seat lumbar support structure design, seat skeleton modal analysis and harmonic response analysis, this paper mainly try to check the dynamic comfortableness of one driving seat.The main content of this article is as follows:First of all, this paper briefly reviewed the driving seat structure and lumbar support products in markets. After analysis advantages and disadvantages of these products, this paper proposes and designs a new project of lumbar support structure and establishes the3D model in UG software. The movement principle of the structure is explained in detail. This design is an innovative project.Finally, in order to explore the vibration performance of the driving seat, modal analysis and harmonious response analysis of the seat skeleton are done in this paper. The result of modal analysis shows that, the frequency of steps in modal can avoid the situation of cars in normal running condition; the result of harmonic analysis proves that at resonance frequencies, the vibration displacement situation of6selected nodes is in the permitted range. After all, the works done in this paper have validated that the vibration performance of the seat skeleton meet the application requirements.
