Voltage fluctuation and flicker is an important factor affecting the quality of electricenergy, small voltage fluctuation will affect users of precise electronic instrument accuracy,severe voltage fluctuation may even cause great potential safety hazard and serious economiclosses, so timely detect the voltage fluctuation and flicker and carries on the effectivesuppression, is of great significance.This paper first reviews the voltage fluctuation and flicker detection and suppressiontechnology present situation, analyses the commonly used the principle of voltage fluctuationand flicker detection method and the problems of voltage fluctuation and flicker detection, inorder to improve the detection precision and speed, voltage fluctuation and flicker on theanalysis of the null space pursuit algorithm based on the principle and the principle ofHilbert-huang, the null space pursuit algorithm combined with Hilbert-huang, use of nullspace pursuit algorithm for implementing first extract the original electrical signal denoising,and then use the Hilbert-huang extraction voltage fluctuation signal, realizes the voltagefluctuation and flicker detection. In order to suppress voltage fluctuation and flicker, the useof static synchronous compensator for reactive power compensation, static synchronouscompensator can smooth and rapid absorption of reactive power, and the power factorcorrection, so that it can be effective to suppress voltage fluctuation and flicker, voltage in asteady state. Is verified by MATLAB simulation to verify the tracking algorithm based onnull space pursuit algorithm and Hilbert-huang detection method is superior to the singleapplication of combining null space pursuit algorithm and Hilbert-huang algorithm, improvethe detection precision and improve the speed of detection.
