CFRP steel reinforced concrete filled with steel tube column is a new type of frame column. The new type column combines the advantages of column with inside concrete filled steel tube with lattice type steel reinforced concrete column. With the CFRP packaged around the column, all kinds of materials are restrained, which can enhance the compressive strength of all materials. The core of the column is steel tube, and the concrete is poured into the steel tube and outside of it. Steel frame, which is composed by angle and batten plate, and CFRP are placed in the outside. The advantage of this new type column is that restraint of CFRP and steel frame, the concrete of the composite columne can work together well. That will make full ues of all kinds of materials, and improve the bearing capacity and ductility.On the base of the research on constitutive relation of steel, concrete and CFRP, the mode of the new type column is analysed by the common software, ABAQUS. Four kinds of loading state are built by the software. Many parameters are considered in the mode, including number of CFRP layer, space between batten plate, axial compression ratio and shear span ratio. The bearing capacity, energy dissipation capacity and deformation capacity are researched in the paper. At the same time, the load-displacement curves and stress contours in stressed process are all shown in the thesis. The stress mechanism and the failure mode of all specimens are researched detailed and accurate in the meantime.The results which are analysed by the finite element software are shown that the capacity of the column is high. Meanwhile the ductlity performance of the column is very well, and the energy dissipation capacity is very large. All the performance can meet the code, so it can be used into the top building. With the increasing of the layers of CFRP, the ductility of the column has been improved significantly. With the decreasing of the space of the batten plate, CFRP and batten plate can work togerher well. The failure of CFRP can be delayed so the ductility of the column has been better. For the reason of high steel rate, the ductility of the column is very well even the shear span ratio is very low. The torque will reduce the ductility and the energy dissiption capacity, which is harmful to the structure. The theroy analysis on the mechanical performance of the CFRP steel reinforced concrete filled with steel tube column can provide the experiment as well.
