| The screw conveyer is a kind of continuous conveying machinery without flexibledriving component. With the help of the rotation of the screw, it produces relative motionbetween material and the screw axis, which aims at transporting, lifting and loadingmaterial. Besides, it can complete several special process, such as mixing, extrusion,rubbing and the conveying of high temperature material. The screw conveyer has alreadywidely used in food, building, chemistry, machinery manufacturing, transportation and soon. And becomes an important symbol of modernization. It is one of the most importantequipment in logistics transportation and moder system of transporting grain. In the processof conveying material, the specialty and particularity makes it has its own characteristicsand development direction. Many experts have been doing a lot of research on food screwconveyor, they come up with many improvements and innovations, but the designing,manufacturing and using level of screw conveyer still need to be improved.For this reason,this article will study the pitch value of existing models ofhorizontal screw conveyor in our country. The implementation is to choose thedetermined inner and outer diameter of the pipe of the screw and the final length, thenanalyzes that the pitch takes how much when the rigidity of the screw is the largest.Through analysed the finite element model of the screw, we find that along with theincrease of the pitch, the rigidity of the screw increases gradually.And the linear staticsanalysis tells us that the optimal pitch of screw conveyor is S=D of the small type screw.This article will provide the reliable theory for the design and manufacture of thescrew conveyor, and provide reasonable technical guidance for production sales. |
