Screw conveyor is an important medium in modern industrial and agricultural production materials,continuous conveying equipment in ore mining,food,transport,port logistics,chemical production,etc.,many industries and screw conveyor are closely linked.In modern industrial and agricultural production,the spiral conveyor can not only serve as the conveying function,but also can mix and stir the conveying materials.In some large airport ports and other environments,the spiral conveyor has become a necessary equipment for modern logistics transportation.And the inclined screw conveyor is to meet the material delivery distance and can raise the material to a certain height.In the small Angle ascend for the material,it have a combination of horizontal screw conveyor and the role of vertical screw conveyor,inclined screw conveyor in the status of production and living,more and more attention.Therefore,the research and development of inclined screw conveyer are paid more and more attention.By reading relevant literatures at home and abroad,this paper studies the structural properties of inclined spiral conveyor based on discrete element method.,conventional screw conveyor model is established first,and then at a certain Angle,using EDEM software delivery process has carried on the simulation of rice.Screw conveyor design parameters of screw conveyor performance is studied,the influence of the simulation result has carried on the detailed analysis,get the screw conveyor transmission performance will be along with the increase of conveyor speed,presents the tendency of decrease with increase of material filling rate,the increase of screw conveyor pitch also can make conveyor transmission performance is improved,and is obtained by orthogonal test the best transmission scheme is V3 S3 ?1.And according to the exist in the process of simulation strong surge phenomenon is analyzed,according to the analysis conclusion,the optimization design the structure of screw conveyor,obtained satisfactory structure,reduces the material particles in the process of conveying surge phenomenon,at the same time improve the transmission performance of the screw conveyor.
