A thin, circular disk is a basic structure which is widely used in aviation, spaceflight, shipbuilding, civil and machinery, and other industrial field. With the rapid development of industry, traditional material cann’t satisfied people’s requirements under the complex environment, new material is introducted into the industry, thus the vibration of the disk become a important problme compare with any time before. The flexible bladle disk is widely used in the turbin machine,and the coupled vibration of the disk and blade might be a nonliner and comples condition.The transverse vibration analysis and response of the disk are important research fields of circular disk structure. In this paper, Transverse vibration analysis of rotating disks and response under harmonic load of the static disk are studied. The exact solution, FEM simulation and the experimental method of rotating disks are obtained. Based on theory of elasticity and Galerkin’s methord the force vibration equation of the static disk is obtained and the response under harmonic load is caculated.The main research contents of this paper are as following:(1) Based on Rayleigh-Ritz method and Lagrangian equations of motion, the governing equations for a thin, circular disk is derived. The Galerkin’s methord and hypothesis vibration of principle model are utlized together to obtain the solutions. Typical natural frequencies based on rotating speed is presented for a disk taking into account clamped-free supported, and the Campbell curve is obtained.(2) The FE software ANSYS is introducted to do numerical simulation, including: selection of unit type, input of material parameters, the solution of nature frequency.(3) The response of the static disk under harmonic load is caculated. Based on Kirchhoff thin elastic plate theory, the force vibration equation of the static disk is obtained and the response under harmonic load is caculated. (4) The experimental modal theoretical and it’s basic process is introduced. Do some experimental analysis of the static disk and obtain the nature frequency and modal shape. Based on the LDV, the dynamic frequency of the disk is analysisd.
