The virtual engine technology can complete the entire engine development processfrom low-end concept analysis to high-end performance assessment, can makeindependent component or subsystem integrate into the whole engine simulationenvironment, can predict and optimize power system in the vehicle environment, it isconvenient to match、optimize the vehicle, so that it can save manpower and materialresources and shorten development time. Therefore, more and more virtual enginetechnology is accepted by the engine and auto enterprises.Earlier stage work of this thesis is mainly divided into two parts: one, refinedmathematical formula. Some is not suitable for this article. The mathematical formulawe choose need to be well demonstrated2, doing engine basic experiments in whichthe way we get the basic data. This thesis medium-term work is: using the software programming modeling. Fromthe air filter, intake pipe, compressor, etc, experience the whole process of operation ofengine. According to the working characteristic of different parts to different ways ofmodeling, we use different methods. The last part is: model validation and simulation. Model validation is under the testconditions, compare the need of engine torque and the torque of this model simulation.Model simulation are mainly: first, the EGR turbocharged engine simulation, includingunder different load and the throttle opening of engine speed and fuel consumption rate.Second, EGR turbocharged engine simulation, including the EGR under different loadand the throttle opening and the EGR turbocharged engine speed compare and specificfuel consumption, fuel consumption rate and rotational speed under different momentof inertia of the change of the situation.
