It’s very meaningful.The main content is as follows:(1) Collect the data of existing fire fighting boats, then analysis of their respective technical characteristics and summarizes the law. Provide information for the later design of fire fighting boats.(2) Combine with the characteristics of fire fighting boat and the differences with civil and commercial ships, design the technical and economic evaluation index, for example:the ability of fighting fire fighting. At the same time, to combining with modern design concept and trend of the ship, we add EEDI to the evaluation index. Due to the denomination of previous EEDI is the transport capacity of the ship, it doesn’t conform to the fire fighting boat, so we modify it combined with fire fighting boat.(3) Optimizing ship form of fire fighting boat and evaluate for the existing fire fighting boat. Combined the data of existing fire fighting boats we have and the goal of design, we get the scope of principal dimensions of the fire fighting boat we are going to design. Through the fire fighting boat technical and economic demonstration system, we get a fire fighting boat form that has a good performance at both technical and economic area. At last, we do sensitivity analysis of the fire fighting boat form.
