hip is the most important water transport carrier and development platform, the way theyoperate and the day-to-day maintenance of the ship has its particularity, and the fire is thebiggest threat facing the normal operation of the ship.In order to adapt to the healthdevelopment of ocean,the fire safety of the ship get many people’s attention abroad in recentyears,many scholars have engaged in related fields.System evaluation is the most important core part of the system thory, with a wide rangeof applications in a variety of systems engineering practice. With the advancement of scienceand technology,and he system’s function improve constantly, the structure has become moreand more complex, the increasingly close relationship between the system and the evaluationproblems rise to the level of complexity science.Ship fire-fighting system is no longer anisolated electrical system,but involved in the surrounding environment, human factors,andmanagemen of interrelated, mutual restraint factors constitute an organic whole, this systemclassified in the context of complex systems, this article is based on the theory of complexsystems evaluation analysis cascading failure of the ship’s fire-fighting system.Chapter II of this article discusses the concept of system evaluation,the general steps ofthe evaluation,estabilish the general method of system evaluation index system,as wel ascommonly used in evaluation of complex systems thory and methods.In the Chapter IIIdescripte consist of the fire-fighting system and discusses the internal mechanism of chainfailure of the fire-fighting system of the ship,and receal the complex system inherentproperties of brittle external manifestation, establishment of a complete fire-figthing systemsof the ship chain failure assessment index system,using AHP methord to calculate the weightof each index value, to lay the data base for follow-up assessment. In the fourth chapterdescribes the theory of complex system, final evaluation scale brittle and brittle risk ofentropy as a chain failure.Finally, take a tour boat for example to evaluation the chain failureof the fire-fighting system. Brittle entropy evaluation method can be ysed to verify thefeasibility and lay the foundation of chain failure prevent efforts and provide new ideas.
