Rainfall on the slope stability study is an important subject in geotechnical engineering which also is very concerned by home and abroad. Especially,in the southwest of China, due to much rain and high rain intensity, these regions often have natural disasters such as landslide and debris flow.So, rainfall has great relationship with he slope stability.When a heavy rainfall occurs, destroying the stability of the slope is more easily, that’s obviously common sense, study the stability of the slope before and after rainfall is imperative.DaGang mountain dadu river hydropower station in sichuan province locates in the southwest, the right bank slope is high and steep, which its underground water level is low,which belong to the rock slope, which has much rain in the summer, which more likely cause to occur landslide disaster.so,studying the rainfall infiltration on the stability of rock slope is very immport subject. I study the key of this paper is to analyze the rainfall how to affect the stability of the right slope.Reduce parameters of rock which will cause the change of safety coefficient.The safety coefficient of the slope is used to measure the stability of the slope. Analyze this paper from the following several aspects:(1) According to the seepage theory of fractured rock slope, rock slope numerical model is established.(2) According to the physical, chemical and mechanical function to study the effect of rainfall on rocky slope rock mass strength, after the rain infiltration,pore water pressure make some effect on rock mass stress state.(3) Learn methods of analyzing the slope stability,generally,safety coefficient is used to measure the slope stability; FLAC3D Software can be used to calculate the slope stability safety coefficient and seepage problems.Vertical displacement of slope and shear failure unit, the range of the plastic zone size is essential to measure the slope stability. To master the mechanism of the slope losing stability and mechanical explanation,lays the foundation for how to treat and prevent the slope that loses its stability.(4) Consider the stability of the rock slope at different rainfall intensity,rainfall duration and different permeability coefficient.Using different analysis methodto calculate the safety factor is different.For example,DaGang mountain rock mass physical and mechanical changes,including the internal friction Angle, cohesive force, bulk density,modulus of elasticity which causes changes of the safety Coefficient.Rainfall is one of the main factor that slope loses its stability.In the process of rainfall infiltration,saturated-unsaturated seepage changes all the time,seepage field and stress field make some effect on the slope stability. The pore water pressure make bad influence to the fractured rock mass strength,the internal friction Angle, Cohesion, bulk density, modulus of elasticity is reduced,and the safety coefficient decreases.It is concluded that when the rainfall induced the main factors which rock slope lose its stability.
