Accidents, such as fall to the ground, occur easily on hemiplegic patients and the aged in everyday life because of their equilibrium increasingly degradation, which is resulted from some aging or damaged organs. Therefore, it’s of vital importance to have equilibrium assessment and rehabilitation training during rehabilitation processes of the patients. However, the method depends too much on subjective judgment of physician. The research and development of balancing apparatus for rehabilitation and training in China is at the starting stage for now. We can only detect the conversion of gravity center when people are standing statically, and we cannot change degree of the measurement plane. Aimed at the deficiency of equipment in China, this research mainly has done the following work:According to the strategy of contemporary rehabilitation theory and body balance when disturbed,Based on the static balance testing of existing institutions and static balance existing evaluation methods, Paper presented a new type of rehabilitation system. The standing platform can achieve the changes on the360degree angle by hydraulic cylinder with two displacement sensor and spherical hinged support. The gravity can be measured by four stress sensor, and these data will be collected by51single-chip, which can control stretch of hydraulic cylinder, carry out the real-time monitoring human gravity center and upload these data to pc through serial port. People can program video interface by MFC on the PC. This interface can not only real-time display migration track of human gravity center, but also set the omnidirectional angel of the platform and upload these information to single-chip through serial port. The single-chip controls the stroke and speed of hydraulic cylinder and receives the condition of hydraulic cylinder by displacement sensor. The video interface strives to concise and vivid.The rehabilitation system we designed can not only real-time display gravity center path of patients when they are standing on their feet statically, but also observes the dynamic track of gravity center by changing the degree of plane. The medical workers can evaluate equilibrium function through objective data from this system, then they can conduct equilibrium rehabilitation training for patients using this system.
