Piezoelectric energy harvester is attracting more and more attention, because of the high electromechanical conversion efficiency, easy miniaturization and simple structure. Piezoelectric flooring energy harvesting system makes full use of kinetic energy of moving without effecting human’s free activities. The energy generated when load such as displacement is applied on the piezoelectric floor depends not only on the number of transducers embedded in floor but also the deformation of the piezoelectric-flooring energy harvester. Structure has been changed from the monolithic structure to block structure in order to increase the variable displacement.In this paper, the maximum output power of different shape piezoelectric energy harvester, such as triangle, circle, block and fan-shaped, was compared through ANSYS software. Firstly, we contrasted the output power of circle-disc shape energy. Harvester and the same-sized four fan-shaped energy harvester structure under the same load. Then we replaced the four fan-shaped energy harvesters with the right angled triangle-shaped energy harvester and repeated the previous experiment. Finally the output power of three different triangles and discs was compared. The output power of different shaped energy harvester systems was compared with the length of each triangle side equal to the disc radius considering that different shaped energy harvester under different load. The simulation shows that output power of the apex angle of60degrees triangle is the better than others.Vibration instrument was used to simulate people walking when the parameters of different shaped energy harvester and proof mass were specified. Firstly, we made comparison of the maximum output power between the the overall structure and relatively rectangular block structure and different shaped block structure with in the same thickness. The final shape of piezoelectric-flooring energy harvester was determined based on the previous ANSYS software simulation and experimental results. Apex angle of60degrees triangle was selected the unit of piezoelectric floor.Through the simulation and experiment, cantilever piezoelectric block floor improve the output power, about7-10times of the same the volume of monolithic piezoelectric structure.
