Era of progress, the whole world is undergoing tremendous changes. Automobile as an important means of transport, unknowingly become an integral part of life. Since the21st century, As China’s automobile industry’s rapid development and is in a growth phase, accelerating the development and production of independent research and the development of own-brand cars is an effective way to solve the people’s living needs and stimulating domestic demand. Crank linkage is a core component of the engine and the main part of the movement to achieve the completion of work cycles and energy conversion. Technical innovation of crank linkage mostly lies on aspects of the materials’production process to meet safety and reliability issues brought by engine power increased. With the increasing people’s demands on the environment and sustainable development, Using of environmentally friendly cleaning car to reduce environmental pollution has been urgently needed to internal combustion engine powered vehicles in today’s society. If considering from the aspects of structural innovation, the traditional crank connecting rod mechanism obviously can not meet the design requirements. However, improve the combustion performance by changing the material can not be achieved, the structural aspects of innovation become a new idea. In1999, the French developed a new gas engine connecting rod to achieve the crankshaft and sentinel mating structure, changed the operation curve of the piston to more complete combustion and improving combustion efficiency. PRO/ENGINEER is a typical software of design simulation in the mechanical3D modeling software and most widely used in engine design. The3D modeling and motion analysis included in it has a great help for the realization of the design and validation of new crank linkage.This article designs a new crank linkage applied on the engine with simulation and modeling by PRO/E and theoretical analysis and analytical solutions. So that the structure has obvious constant volume combustion process, fast compression process and freedom of exhaust process at work. First, determine a target curve to be achieved and the angular velocity relationship of primary and secondary crankshaft in the target model. Set the parameters with the actual situation and determine the initial model of the target crank linkage mechanism. In the PRO/E software, generate a vertical displacement piston running relationship with time curve, through the establishment of the model and dynamic analysis. Analyze the impact of various parameters on the results and optimize the mechanism. Then achieve the target curve progressively. Certificate the exist conditions of the structure’s transformation model-a plane close chain five pairs crank mechanism. Final, verify the rationality of model with analytical solutions and simulation results.
