| Energy is the foundation of social development, the sustainable developmentof energy is needed in today’s society. In the face of the lack of energy, energyhas become an urgent task in our country. Wind power is the conversion of windenergy into electrical power that can save non-renewable resources, and canreduce the pollution of the environment. Therefore, wind power as a newrenewable clean energy, with its good economic benefit and social influence hasbeen widely concerned.Because of nonlinear and multivariable that makes control technologybecome the key to the wind turbines capable of efficient and safe operation. Thepurpose is to compare with the traditional control, the gain scheduling controltheory applied to wind power system can achieve satisfactory control effect.Firstly, on the foundation of analyzing the running principle of variable-speed variable-pitch wind turbine, the control strategy is formulated. Secondly, avariable-speed variable-pitch wind turbine’s mathematical model is established.Finally, for the goal of maximum wind power extraction at low wind speed andrated power output maintaining at high wind speed, PID controller as well asgain scheduling based on loop compensation LPV controller are designedrespectively under different wind conditions. The simulation results demonstratethat the following up performance or the stability capability, the gain schedulingcontroller which are devised better than PID controller. It can reduce system’sovershoot and regulation time more effectively, achieve good control effect. |
