Among all the basic necessities of life, home is the most important part. Thus, the degree of intelligence and humanization of home affects the quality of our daily life directly and it also determines the feeling of warm of a family. Smart home is the product of the need of this. Thus, how to improve the intelligence and humanization of smart home product is essential in order to satisfy the users’need and enlarge the range of its use. Above all, research and development on the human control of smart home has important theoretical and practical significance.This thesis applied the technique of voice recognition and image processing on the control of smart home system. Users can control the home electrics simply by voice or mobile smart home without difficult menu operation anymore. Also, users can use smart mobile devices such as smart phone to catch the image and video of home electrics and upload them to cloud. So that smart home product can analyze and recognize which home appliance is being used and then return the result to the mobile smart terminal. It then can supply specific control interface for users to control target electrical appliance according to the result of recognition.Meanwhile, research on current indoor positioning offered a technique proposal of indoor positioning applicable for smart home based on LED and angles of the incident light. In the aspect of health care, this thesis embedded auto-reminder of medicine-taking into the software.At last, this thesis developed smart home control software with voice control and visible-and-controllable as well as regular reminder of medication function based on Android smart phone. The software is designed based on the research on human control and indoor positioning along with care design principle. The thesis also designed a proposal of indoor positioning on account of the need of indoor situation and validated its technical feasibility and applied for its patent.
