With advances in the development of power electronics technology andautomation technology, making use of wind energy has been growing attention. Thepermanent magnet wind power system characteristics are very prominent in the fieldof wind power, which will gradually become the focus of today’s wind power area.In a permanent magnet wind power system, due to the operating characteristicsof the wind turbine at different wind speeds,it is needed to find an optimum speed sothat the power output of the wind turbine reaches a maximum. As the main drivecircuit of the motor, PWM inverter plays an important role. Control of the motorspeed always running at optimum speed, and control of the motor current alwaysrunning at the optimum current corresponding to the optimum motor speed are alsoessential. Only with a solution to these questions, we can more effectively make betteruse of wind energy.This thesis is mainly on all aspects of permanent magnet wind power systemanalysis and research. Through the principle of all aspects of analysis and research, amaximum wind energy tracking control method based on fuzzy control is designed.The contents of this paper are as follows:First, the development of technology in permanent magnet wind power system athome and abroad are reviewed, and the principle of wind turbines are analyzed. Themathematical model of the PWM rectifier and permanent magnet wind generators inthree-phase rotating coordinate system are established,and for wind turbines andPWM retifier,coordinate transformation is completed from three-phase stationarycoordinate system by mathematical modeling to two-phase rotating coordinatesystem.Second, a permanent magnet wind power system mathematical model isestablished, including wind turbine, fuzzy controller, a permanent magnet windgenerator and PWM converter, followed by analysis of the operating characteristicsand control methods in all aspects of the system. Wind turbine operatingcharacteristics curves is plotted,fuzzy logic controller is designed according to the largest wind power tracking control theory and vector control method of our windturbines is used to control the motor speed and current. In the PWM converter sectionthe current hysteresis comparative methods is analized.Finally, for the maximum wind controller design and other aspects of the controlmethod, the various aspects of the system simulation module is established by Matlab/Simulink software.Through simulation, verification systems can be a good trackwind optimum operating point.
