By the analysis and study of the theory and technique on modern permanent magnet machines, synthesize the characteristic of The Concentrated Wind Energy Turbine, adopting the electromagnetism designing method of combining field and circuit, the 1kW low-speed permanent magnetic generator of wind turbine is devised and manufactured. Tested the generate electricity characteristic of two experimental sample machine named No.1 and No.2. The result of experiment study indicates the rating output power of 1kW can be achieved while the rotate is 250rpm that is 30rpm lower than the demand rotate 250rpm of GB. Compared with the same dimension ordinary permanent magnetic generator, the ratio of power-mass and power-volume is increased 63.1% and 66.7%, respectively. The output voltage of unloading after commutating is 2.5V and 2.2V higher than the rating voltage; the starting resistance torque, efficiency and increasing temperature of two sample machine is 1.568Nm, 1.215Nm, 72.89%, 78.01% and 74.9K, 64.8K, respectively. These results indicates the rotate of two sample machines is low when reaching rating voltage, the starting resistance torque, efficiency of No.2 and increasing temperature of two sample machines satisfied the requirement of GB. The efficiency between 65%~100% rating rotate is higher than the efficiency in rating rotate, so it can make The Concentrated Wind Energy Turbine keep in high efficiency, took full advantage of wind power.
