In the wave of economic globalization, the competition among companies also is heatingup. In order to improve the competitiveness in the market, manufacturers must reform thesystem, improve the management, pay attention to the technology, improve the efficiency.Manufacturing Execution System is a powerful tool to achieve this goal. Combining theEnterprise Resource Planning with the Process Control System, it achieves a double crossbetween the level of enterprise management and comprehensive benefits, causing widespreadattention to manufacturing companies. Combining the background of the workshopmanufacturing process with the current development of the MES, this paper proposes a MESarchitecture based on the SOAand its scheduling algorithm.First, through the analysis of the workshop manufacturing process and the traditionalMES framework, combining with an open, platform-independent service-oriented architecture,this paper designs the framework and functional structure of the MES based on the SOA.Through service modeling for the MES functional modules, the coarse-grained service isdecomposed into fine-grained services to meet the new business fast arrangement andreconstruction. At the same time, this paper studies the system implementation, securitytactics and the application of scheduling algorithm in the MES.Secondly, because of the shortcomings for the genetic algorithm to solve shop schedulingproblems, three improvements are proposed, including adaptive genetic factors, the use ofexcellent chromosome retention policy, chaos optimization mutation operator. Comparingwith simulation of the SGA and other mainstream algorithms, this paper verifies theeffectiveness and practicality of the algorithm.Again, in the system design phase, the implementation framework of the MES based onthe SOA is proposed. At the same time, this paper designs the system functional roles,architecture package diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, and finally shows development environment,operating environment and operating interface.
