The dynamic chamber pressure is one of the important parameters in the development,design and acceptance of artillery.Every country is actively studying the measuring methodof chamber pressure. So far, most of the methods can measure only a point of the chamberpressure, and it is not enough for studying the distribution of chamber pressure, thustransforming design of artillery structure, forecasts of ballistic parameters. So we need toconduct multipoint pressure test, but the problem of synchronization trigger when placemultiple instruments in a test should be solved first. Aimed at the problem of synchronizationtrigger, after analyzing the transient process of artillery fire, we put forward the idea that wecan use the light signal from the powder burning as signal source of instrument trigger. Thisidea is based on the shell capacitive electronic manometer designed before. The paper studiesthis idea and the details are:(1).After analyzing the process of artillery firing, we propose the idea of using lightsignal as the signal source of instrument trigger, then design and validate the overall structure;(2).For the medium of light propagation-optical window, we designed its structure ofdetailed and analyzed its intensity through the software ANSYS. At the same time, weintroduce the technology to sealing the optical window and metal. The last, we proposedsolutions to this problem after analyzing the effect of shell electromagnetic shielding whenopening the optical window;(3).Design the detailed hardware circuit of this instrument. The designs are mainly: thephotoelectric trigger circuit; the smaller transient capacitance measurement circuit; thesequential and the infrared communication circuit. At last, we propose to use the supercapacitor whose performance is verified by experiment instead of traditional lithium batteries;(4).Designed the program of the system master control unit and finished the preparationof the PC software by visual programming language-LabVIEW. The functions of new PCsoftware are more powerful and the interface is more friendly. Then debugged the system circuit based on eternal optical signal trigger and analyzed the collected data.
