In order to achieve warhead intelligent design, automatic operation, digital analyze, shorten the design cycle, and improve design efficiency, by using the projectile warhead design theory, CAD/CAE technology and database technology, we design and develop a warhead digital design system, achieving the automatic three-dimensional parametric modeling of shaped charge warhead and blast-fragmentation warhead, optimization of structural parameters, numerical stimulation and automatic modeling of end effect process, interactive data transmission, which facilitates the design, optimization and assessment for the designer in warhead design.In projectile warhead digital design, based on the theory action process of shaped charge and blast-fragmentation warhead design. We did a secondary development on commercial CAD software NX8.0to achieve template-based automatic establishment of parametric3D model, realizing the3D model design of shaped charge warhead and blast-fragmentation warhead, as well as automatic generation and automatic assembly of the model and2D engineering graphic. By the research of acting mechanisms of the warhead, we finish the engineering calculation of the damage effectiveness evaluation and the optimization algorithm of structure parameter of the warhead, which realized the damage power evaluation of the warhead and the optimization of the structure parameter. By using the secondary development tool APDL provided by the ANSYS, setting the material parameter, equation of state, solver type and boundary condition of simulation files, we realized the automatic numerical simulation of damage course such as jet formation, penetration and fragment emission. Through the COM technology, we realized the automatic generation and output of the warhead design report. Database and document library are regarded as the bottom support of each function module for the design system of the warhead, through which we can browse, check and manage the content of database (including the parameter data, the related design knowledge, expert information and stimulation knowledge) The test to digital design system of the warhead shows that it is feasible to damage capability assessment of the warhead studied by the application system and the methods in system design can be a reference for the further study of the warhead.
