Wind energy is a kind of green and clean energy, and it has become the focus in theworld of the new energy research. So the research on wind power generation technology hasattracted more and more attention. Because of the particularity of work environment of windturbine gearbox, and the gearbox is the key components of the mechanical drive in windturbine. Therefore, to study the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology ofthe gearbox of wind turbine plays an extremely important role to the good operation ofthe wind turbine.In this paper, using the wind turbine gearbox as the research object, the structure andfault characteristics of the gearbox is discussed. The processing technique of vibrationsignal about the gearbox simple diagnostic method and precise diagnosis method isresearched. In order to verify the validity of the methods, the paper analyzes and processesvibration signal of various types of fault in the laboratory gearbox experiment platform. Theautomatic fault diagnosis system of wind power gearbox based on DSP is designed.Analyzing and processing the collected data of the wind power gearbox and diagnosing thefault type verifies the effectiveness of the system.The contents of the paper are as follows:The paper analyzes simple diagnosis algorithm of gearbox fault----the time domainanalysis method. Through processing and analyzing the data of fault simulation experimentplatform of the laboratory gearbox, find out the characteristic parameters of time domain canobviously distinguish the different fault types. At the same time, it provides the basisfor extracting the characteristic parameters of subsequent automatic fault diagnosistechnology.The paper studies on gearbox fault precise diagnosis algorithm about combining with thefiltering algorithm and wavelet packet decomposition. Through analyzing the data of fault simulation experiment platform indicates that the diagnosis method can not only effectivelyeliminate external noise interference, but also can accurately find the fault characteristicfrequency and determine fault types.The paper studies on the hardware module and the design of the software of theautomatic fault diagnosis system of the gearbox based on DSP. The paper analyzes andstudies on the hardware circuit of each module of DSP, the realization of signal processingalgorithm and BP neural network classification algorithm in the DSP, the realization of thefunction of each module, the realization of the communication method between theconfiguration software and DSP, and successfully structures automatic fault diagnosissystem of gearbox based on DSP.
